Start where you are
Maybe something has changed: a move, a new job, children leaving home, a relationship beginning or ending. Or maybe nothing has changed on the outside, but you feel ready to understand your own patterns.
You do not need to know exactly what you are looking for. Curiosity is enough to start a conversation.
Patterns worth getting curious about
Perfectionism, indecision, fear of failure, and harsh self-talk are common reasons people look for space to reflect. It can help to notice when they show up and what they seem to be protecting.

Grief and loss
Grief does not follow a schedule. If you are navigating a loss, talk with Ashley about the kind of support you are looking for. If grief feels overwhelming or is not easing over time, a grief counselor or licensed therapist can help. MedlinePlus has information on bereavement and finding support.
Questions to bring
- How do you work with life changes and self discovery?
- What would a first session focus on?
- How do we choose a goal when I am not sure what I want yet?
- How would this fit alongside therapy or other support I have?
Common questions
Is this the same as therapy?
No. Hypnotherapy with Ashley is not psychotherapy, and she does not diagnose or treat mental-health conditions. If you work with a therapist, you can ask how the two might fit together.
What if I get emotional or do not know what to say?
That is okay. You set the pace, and there is no right way to begin.
